Ashville College, Harrogate, is looking to appoint two Estates Officers to join our busy Estates Team. The successful candidates will need to provide efficient and effective operational support to ensure the security, maintenance and general appearance of the school buildings meet required standards. These roles are full‑time, working 35 hours per week for the full year, and are varied and physically demanding posts that require flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to maintain the security and appearance of school buildings in accordance with required standards;
  • Carry out caretaking and maintenance tasks as needed;
  • Work as part of a team;
  • Be available for on‑call duties on a 1 in 6 rota.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar post, such as a handyperson, with experience of caretaking and maintenance work;
  • Ability to work within a team.
