We are looking for a permanent, full‑time Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) to join us from Monday 7th September 2026 at Easingwold Community Primary School, North Yorkshire.
About You
We need a dedicated phonics champion to support children from Reception all the way up to Year 6. Reading is the golden thread running through our school, and you will be right at the heart of it.
What You Will Do
- Know the Little Wandle programme inside out.
- Believe in "keep up, not catch up" and know how to bridge learning gaps early.
- Bring energy and pace to 1:1 and small group sessions.
- Spot when a child needs a different approach, including children with SEND or EAL.
- Build confidence and a genuine love for books.
- Enjoy looking at pupil data with teachers to figure out the best next steps for each child.
