Are you a lover of the outdoors? Are you looking for a role that allows you to earn whilst being outdoors across the district of North Yorkshire? This is where you come in. We’re looking for Civil Enforcement officers to join our parking services team.

As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you will:

  • Issue penalty charge notices using handheld computerised terminals and support with written reports
  • Work as part of a team patrolling car parks and highways in your designated area
  • Enforce parking regulations and assist the public with enquiries in a helpful and sensitive manner
  • Report defects related to signage, street lighting, street furniture, or any other public hazard that may impact permitted parking facilities

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and would like to broaden their knowledge of North Yorkshire while being active in the community.

Shifts: Rolling Rota, averaging 4 days over 7, between 05:00am and 00:15am

Weekend working allowance: up to £30 per full day (approximately £2,000 additional per annum)

What You Will Bring

  • A full manual driving license is required to complete all aspects of the role, however we would consider a candidate who is working towards achieving this.
