Are you looking for a role with great benefits? We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our Sites, Mercury House Richmond. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic.
Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for:
- The locking and security of the building
- Responding to emergency call‑outs
- Ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean
- Supporting the maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings
- Assisting with minor repairs and replacing consumables
- Supporting the training and development of the Cleaners on site
- Assisting with cleaning duties as directed
Full training will be provided. The hours are between 6am-8am daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time, totalling to 10 hours per week over 5 days. For this, you will be paid £13.28 per hour. No weekend work!
