About the Role:

Join our friendly school catering team and help create nutritious, home-cooked meals that fuel children for learning and help them thrive every day. We're looking for a Mobile Cook to work across a number of school kitchens in the Boroughbridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, leading a team, and making a real difference in their local community.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious school meals using locally sourced ingredients
- Leading and supporting kitchen teams to deliver an excellent service
- Serving meals to pupils and staff with a friendly, customer-focused approach
- Managing food orders and stock levels
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Completing food safety records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
As a Mobile Cook, you'll travel between schools, providing support wherever it's needed and helping ensure every kitchen delivers a fantastic dining experience for children.
We're seeking someone who is:

Work-Life Balance:
Typical hours between 7.30am and 2.00pm. Term time only. Regular overtime opportunities available. This term-time-only role is ideal for anyone looking for family-friendly working hours while still enjoying the security and benefits of a permanent position. You will receive equal monthly pay throughout the year, even during school holiday periods.
