The Role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
- Act as a role model and mentor for care staff
- Support and guide colleagues to develop their skills
- Provide personal care and emotional support to residents
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Complete care plans, assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents
- Assist with meals, activities, and social outings
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
What we’re looking for
- Experienced in care with leadership qualities
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards
- Must be flexible to work both Day and Night shifts
- Work well and "get stuck in" with the team
- Demonstrate determination and resilience
- A positive "can do" attitude
- Flexible to cover shifts when required – Our homes operate 7 days per week, 365 days per year
- Can build good, credible relationships with staff, residents and their families
