Location: Bedale, North Yorkshire, Burneston CE VA Primary School. Burneston CE VA Primary School and its governing body are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to work full time within an experienced Key Stage 1/EYFS team, commencing 1st September 2026. We are a small village Church of England primary school, just outside Bedale, with 118 pupils on roll. Our team is committed, talented and supported by strong governors and engaged families, operating under our ‘Celebrate, Collaborate, Pollinate’ ethos.

We are looking for an excellent practitioner, ideally with experience of core subject leadership, willing to join a supportive environment that will help develop leadership skills where required. The position is advertised for 1.0 FTE fixed‑term. You will work with Years 1 and 2 pupils within our EYFS/KS1 unit, delivering curriculum and supporting the key stage team. The post is open to ECT and lower mainscale candidates, who will be appointed on the appropriate scale if below M3.
