The Role
- Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility support
- Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and supporting residents during mealtimes
- Keep residents’ rooms tidy, change bedding, and manage laundry
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and individuality
- Support social activities and outings, including hospital visits
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and other care professionals
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ condition
