Sycamore Hall is the hub of the village with its own community library, visiting post office, shop, restaurant and hair salon. Residents can also enjoy a range of onsite facilities including a communal lounge, laundry and guest room.

The court has well-maintained and child-friendly gardens with a sun house, greenhouse and chickens. Residents are welcome to join in with the gardening if they choose. The gardens attract a variety of birds and outdoor activities are held there in the summer.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you willbe responsibleforthe day-to-day performance and development of a team of Care and Support Workers.You willchampion a culture of care and resilience, supporting your team’s wellbeing, addressing challenges with empathy and determination, and creating an environment where every team member can thrive and deliver outstanding care.

Reporting directly to a Registered Manager, you will ensure that the care and support delivered in people’s homes issafe, effective, responsive, caring, and well-led. Your leadership will be key tomaintainingthehigh standardsNorth Yorkshire Council is known for.

  • Experience in supervising or leading care teams
  • A strong understanding of adult social care standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
  • Ability to access the service independently to meet the service hours, as public transport to the service is limited

QualificationRequirements

We arelooking for candidates who holds anNVQ Level 3or aQCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
