The role is to assist the Educational Psychology Service in delivering a wide range of activities and support to children and young people in schools and settings, under the supervision of experienced Educational Psychologists.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are creative, forward thinking, optimistic, reliable, energetic and reflective
  • Have a degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) or have completed an approved conversion course or a Master’s degree and be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Have experience of varied and relevant work with children, young people and their families
  • Are committed to making a difference to the lives of children and young people in North Yorkshire and are passionate about the local area they work in
  • Will be applying for the Doctorate in Educational Psychology professional training to become a fully qualified EP
  • A full driver’s licence is preferred due to travel around the county being required
