An exciting opportunity has become available to join Safe Hands Homecare, a growing organisation with currently approximately 25 employees in Scarborough and 5 in Pickering. They are looking for a care assistant to join their team so if you have a caring nature and are able to work on your own initiative then this is an opportunity for you.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities. Safe Hands Homecare aim to treat their clients the way they would want their own family members to be treated, to that end they use a holistic approach to care, ensuring that the wishes and preferences of their clients are paramount in their practice.

Qualifications in care are not essential as Safe Hands Homecare will offer the right candidate full training. They also offer employee benefits such as bonuses, an award scheme and pension.

Due to the mobile nature of this role, the successful candidate will hold a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults at risk.
