Hours: Monday β Friday 8.30 β 3.30pm (32.5 hours) Out of school cub assistant β Weekly hours to be discussed at interview
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Sept 2026 β August 2027 (Term Time Only)

The Michael Syddall CE (VA) Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our growing wonderful team and be part of our new school for the future. Initially to work in our preschool but potentially flexible to work in Reception/KS1 too.
We are looking for a practitioner who possesses the following qualities:
- Believes that children come first
- A genuine passion for supporting young children to thrive
- Is committed to supporting a learning environment that promotes excellence
- Facilitates children to learn through play and meaningful experiences
- Flexibility in their approach and a commitment to team working
- Ability to build relationships with young children and demonstrate inclusive and respectful practices
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Have experience of working within EYFS
- Desirable a Level 3 qualification in early years
