Principal duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Advise clients independently, in keeping with the Group’s principles, with respect to all aspects of family and commercial trust and estate law matters
  • Advise on transactions in connection with trust structures
  • Participate in the department’s marketing, education and training programmes
  • Contribute to marketing efforts through writing articles for industry publications, speaking at conferences and attending overseas business development trips

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum of five years post qualification experience in Private Client and Trust practice area
  • Able to handle wills and probate caseload with minimal or no supervision
  • Family Trust experience
  • Experience in corporate trusts and general corporate matters would be an asset.
  • A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
