Appleby Westward is a leading SPAR wholesaler. We are hiring a Customer Service Assistant for our SPAR Salcombe store.
Responsibilities
- Warm welcomes: greet customers with a smile and provide excellent service.
- Maintain store standards and ensure smooth daily operation.
- Use product knowledge and promotions to create eye‑catching displays that delight customers.
- Process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash up and tills, while safeguarding company monies.
- Manage stock: receive, replenish and display stock with ownership and care.
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
- Ensure product quality, labelling and allergen compliance through full training.
- Adhere to Age‑Related Sales regulations and Think 25 guidance.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines to protect colleagues and customers.
