Appleby Westward is a leading SPAR wholesaler. We are hiring a Customer Service Assistant for our SPAR Salcombe store. Responsibilities

Warm welcomes: greet customers with a smile and provide excellent service.

Maintain store standards and ensure smooth daily operation.

Use product knowledge and promotions to create eye‑catching displays that delight customers.

Process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash up and tills, while safeguarding company monies.

Manage stock: receive, replenish and display stock with ownership and care.

Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.

Ensure product quality, labelling and allergen compliance through full training.

Adhere to Age‑Related Sales regulations and Think 25 guidance.

Follow Health and Safety guidelines to protect colleagues and customers.

Qualifications
