Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers and Teaching Assistants to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting students in their educational journey and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEN Teachers: Deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN. Work closely with other professionals to create personalized learning plans. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. Support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
  • SEN Teaching Assistants: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN. Assist with implementing tailored lesson plans and adapting activities to suit individual needs. Support students during classroom and extracurricular activities. Help with personal care and mobility support where necessary. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being of students.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • For SEN Teachers, a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is required, with additional SEN training being a bonus.
  • For Teaching Assistants, a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable, but not essential.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and other professionals.
  • A commitment to ensuring every student has access to the best possible education.
