The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to support pupil progress.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupils' development, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
  • Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development while maintaining high expectations.
  • The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has proven experience teaching within a specialist SEN school setting.
  • Has a strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
  • Demonstrates excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
