Applebough Education is working in partnership with a range of secondary schools across the Coventry and Warwickshire area to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teachers who can teach French and Spanish. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates pupils
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives as required
Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Ability to teach both French and Spanish
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for MFL
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Ability to teach up to KS5
- Experience planning engaging and creative language lessons
