Are you an experienced HLTA ready to take on a more active role in the classroom? We’re currently working with a number of primary schools in West Bromwich who are looking for a confident and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across different year groups. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can lead lessons when required, and is passionate about supporting pupil progress.
About the role: You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality support in the classroom, as well as stepping in to lead lessons during teacher absences. Your ability to engage pupils, maintain structure, and adapt quickly will be key to success.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes when needed
- Support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement

What we’re looking for:
