Applebough Education are working in partnership with a range of secondary schools across Coventry, Rugby and Nuneaton, and we are currently seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join our partner schools. We have short-term, long-term and ongoing positions available, with immediate (ASAP) starts. These roles are suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and supply specialists.

The Role:

  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in English
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student development
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
