Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across our partner secondary schools. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, confident in managing a classroom, and able to motivate and support students in a range of subjects.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and continue their learning. For the right candidate, this position may develop into a long-term or permanent school-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that pre-prepared lesson plans are delivered effectively.
- Maintain a positive, focused, and orderly classroom environment.
- Support students in understanding and completing set work.
- Manage behaviour in line with the school\’s policies and expectations.
- Record and report on student attendance, behaviour, and progress as required.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff and support the wider school community as needed.
- Be adaptable and willing to work across various subjects and year groups.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential).

- Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions effectively.
