An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and inspirational Teacher of Science to join our outstanding secondary school and sixth form in Coventry from September 2026. We are seeking a passionate educator with the ability to deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics within our high-achieving sixth form. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and high-performing environment.

The Role

  • Deliver outstanding Science lessons across KS3 and GCSE
  • Contribute to A-Level teaching within their specialist subject area
  • Inspire curiosity, resilience, and academic excellence in students
  • Use adaptive teaching, retrieval practice, and formative assessment strategies effectively
  • Deliver engaging practical investigations in a safe and stimulating environment

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has strong subject knowledge across Science
  • Can teach engaging and challenging lessons to mixed-ability learners
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Has experience or interest in teaching GCSE and A-Level Science
  • Understands curriculum planning, assessment, and data-informed teaching
