Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a school in Coventry on a full-time basis from January through to July 2027.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across the relevant key stages.
- Teaching a range of artistic techniques, materials and creative processes
- Encouraging pupils to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic styles.
- Preparing resources and maintaining a positive, stimulating learning environment.
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring all pupils are engaged in learning.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Passionate about Art and creative education.
- Confident in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Reliable, organised and enthusiastic.
