Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive Leadership in Kubernetes & SRE: In‑depth experience building and leading high‑performing engineering teams, with a deep focus on Kubernetes, hands‑on experience writing and supporting production software, and expertise across public and/or private cloud environments.
- Large‑Scale Infrastructure Management: Proven ability to manage enterprise services in large‑scale *nix environments and operate multi‑tenant infrastructure as a managed service, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud architectures, system design and performance optimization.
- Team Development & Operational Excellence: A strong desire to build, grow, and mentor teams, coupled with a philosophy of continuous improvement, a strong sense of ownership, and a commitment to fostering transparency.
- Collaborative & Technically Proficient: Highly skilled at working cross‑functionally to ensure project success, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a solid technical background in Engineering or Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Golang.
- Automation advocate – you truly believe in removing operational load via software.
- A strong sense of ownership.
- At the same time, you’re a great teammate who communicates clearly and transparently – self‑motivated, inquisitive, and always looking to learn more.
- Experienced with highly distributed Unix systems.
Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: At Apple, we’re not all the same. And that’s our greatest strength. We draw on the differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced and how we think.
