Apple Technical Recruitment are working exclusively with a privately owned medium sized Main Contractor with c20 years+ of history in East Anglia. The business is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Suffolk region. Working from a New Build office on the outskirts of Ipswich with excellent travel links. With a robust pipeline of work across Suffolk, specifically within the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors. The successful candidate will initially take the commercial lead on a £10m Commercial project near to Bury St Edmunds. The business is known for its supportive culture, high staff retention rates and their successful track record in the local area.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for daily commercial management functions, including:

  • Sub-contract enquiries, procurement, and order placement.
  • Accurate measurement and valuations of work.
