We are looking for a Senior Head Chef to join our team in London.

Salary: £57,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Working pattern: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) – 6.30/6.45am to 3/3.30pm.

Location: London, EC2M 4UJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director.
  • Manage 6 Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team of 23.
  • Prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus.
  • Develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations.
  • Be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers.
  • Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard.
  • Provide feedback and coaching on performance.
  • Ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSHH and Food Hygiene training.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience managing a large team in a fast paced environment providing fresh food daily.
  • Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London.
  • Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous.
