Apple’s Metal Pro Apps & ML Ecosystem team in Graphics, Games and ML org enables developers to harness the power of the GPU across all of Apple’s innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch to our Mac product line. The Graphics, Games and ML org provides the graphics software foundation across all of Apple’s innovative products, including Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV. Metal provides a modern, high-performance graphics & compute API for developers inside and outside of Apple to provide high performance applications on iOS, macOS and Apple TV.
Responsibilities
- Analyze developers products and report on their use of graphics API, recommending optimizations, algorithms, and techniques to improve their applications feature set and performance.
- Host developers during in-person engineering sessions.
- You will be a key source for all aspects of graphics application development, including engineering, documentation, training, and relationship management.
- Representing Apple to 3rd party clients, managing the relationships, and driving the engineering work.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven programming and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
- GPU graphics/compute programming APIs & optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
- Graphics programming development in games or digital content creation applications.
- Experience with system level programming and computer architecture.
