We are looking for an exceptional senior marketing leader to join Apple Services as the European Marketing Lead for Apple Music and Podcasts. Based in the UK, you will own the European marketing strategy for two of Apple's most culturally influential services, leading a small high‑performing team across key markets including the UK, France and Germany, with responsibility spanning all of Europe. The ideal candidate is a strategic, growth‑oriented marketer with deep roots in music, audio and entertainment, a strong creative instinct, and the experience to build and execute ambitious plans that resonate with audiences across diverse markets. You will be equally comfortable setting strategy in a boardroom and getting hands‑on with execution in market.

Description

  • Own the European marketing strategy for Apple Music and Podcasts, defining regional priorities and driving execution.
  • Lead and develop a small team, with one direct report in the UK and dotted line responsibility for marketing leads in Germany and France.
  • Build and deliver full‑funnel annual marketing plans for each key market, balancing global direction with local cultural nuance, across awareness, consideration and conversion.
  • Champion upper‑funnel brand building and culture‑defining marketing, identifying and executing bold, high‑impact activations that place Apple Music and Podcasts at the centre of European cultural moments.
  • Drive product‑led storytelling, ensuring Apple Music and Podcasts' product features are positioned compellingly and consistently across all European market activity.
  • Develop and own a European content, distribution and partner strategy, identifying and securing high‑value partnerships that drive awareness, credibility and audience growth.
  • Pitch for and secure budget for European and local market initiatives, presenting plans and results to global senior leadership.
  • Influence global marketing strategy by providing European insights, audience data and market expertise.
  • Work cross‑functionally across multiple international stakeholders (including editorial, business, marketing and PR teams) to elevate Apple Music priorities, build locally relevant campaigns, and serve as a spokesperson for local needs.
  • Collaborate with Apple Marketing on integrated campaigns, ensuring music and audio are central to the story where relevant.
  • Oversee the social and creator strategy for Europe, including agency and creator partner management across markets.
  • Remain hands‑on with key projects from brief to delivery, maintaining high standards of execution across the region.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in music, audio, entertainment or content marketing, with a senior‑level track record.
  • Deep understanding of the European music and audio landscape, including the creator economy, social and digital platforms, and emerging content trends across key markets.
  • Proven experience building and executing European or multi‑market marketing strategies, with the cultural intelligence to adapt approaches across different audiences.
  • Strong leadership and people‑management experience, with the ability to develop talent and lead through influence in a matrixed organisation.
  • Track record of delivering high‑impact, culturally resonant campaigns and brand partnerships at scale.
  • Proven ability to pitch for and manage significant marketing budgets, with a rigorous approach to ROI and measurement.
  • Exceptional stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across international teams and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing subscription services, with an understanding of full‑funnel growth strategy from awareness through to acquisition and retention.
  • Strong European network across music, media, publishing and entertainment, with experience spanning business development and marketing partnerships.
  • Experience leading agency partnerships across creative, PR and social disciplines.
  • Skilled in analysing and communicating results clearly to senior and executive audiences.
  • Outstanding project‑management capability, able to balance multiple markets and priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for and understanding of Apple's brand, products and services, notably Apple Music and Podcasts.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European language skills an advantage.
