The Legal team plays a critical role in supporting that innovation while upholding Apple’s high ethical and corporate standards. Apple is seeking a commercially minded and pragmatic Legal Counsel to join its EMEIA Commercial and International Legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work as a trusted business partner supporting some of the world’s most innovative products and services across Enterprise, Education, and Government channels.

The successful candidate will join a talented, collaborative, and business‑focused legal team supporting Apple’s Commercial Sales organisation to support B2B sales, strategic partnerships, Major Accounts, across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. The role will focus on Enterprise, Education, and Government routes to market, as well as partnering closely with cross‑functional teams involved in the sale, marketing, and distribution of Apple products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support sales, operations, and cross‑functional teams on a broad range of complex commercial contracts and strategic initiatives across Enterprise, Education, and Government channels.
  • Lead negotiations and draft strategic agreements relating to sales, distribution, marketing, and after‑sales support for Apple products and services.
  • Provide practical, solutions‑oriented legal advice to stakeholders at all levels of the business on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Apple to identify risks, resolve issues efficiently, and help drive successful commercial outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and strategic partners.
  • Support projects and transactions across multiple jurisdictions within EMEIA. Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a Juris Doctor or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Significant experience gained in‑house and/or in private practice, with strong expertise in commercial contracting.
  • Sound understanding of competition law and related legal issues impacting sales, marketing, and distribution within EMEIA.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex issues clearly and effectively.

  • Commercially astute problem‑solver with the ability to navigate complex issues and deliver pragmatic, business‑focused solutions.
  • Self‑motivated and collaborative, with experience managing cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced, international environment.
  • Strong judgment, interpersonal skills, and organisational capabilities, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Comfortable engaging with and advising senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and confident operating in an environment that values thoughtful debate, innovation, and teamwork.
