The Music Publishing team is responsible for Apple's relationships with music publishers and songwriters from strategic, commercial, operational and creative standpoints. We have a new opportunity for a Music Publishing specialist to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract. The Creative Services Music Publishing team is focused on highlighting the work of songwriters and producers on Apple Music, sharing their discographies and stories with music fans around the world. Creative Services also works closely with the Music Creation Apps & Software team to help songwriters and producers perfect their craft across tools like GarageBand and Logic Pro.

Responsibilities:

  • Build best in class working relationships with key creative music publishing teams, and the songwriter community.
  • Identify and deliver creative opportunities for songwriters and their music publishers within Apple Music and the broader Apple ecosystem.
  • Help our creative partners to understand & navigate the Apple Music ecosystem, engage with our platform and its subscribers, and unlock incremental value within their musical compositions.
  • Collaborate with the broader Apple Music publishing team to deliver a consistent and joined-up relationship with Apple partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills including task tracking and time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of the structure of and relationships within the music publishing industry.
  • A passion for songwriters, the creative process and the business side of the music industry.
  • An understanding of Apple Music ecosystem.
