A permanent position for a Social Value Manager in Cambridgeshire, with travel across East Anglia for events, meetings, and site/office visits. The salary is approximately £50k plus a benefits package.

Apple Technical Recruitment is working exclusively with a Regional Main Contractor who is expanding their team. The company has a strong staff retention rate and offers a clear structure and programme for personal development. This role involves leading the Social Value function in the region and collaborating with the wider construction team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with both the Pre-Construction and Operations teams to lead Social Value activities, strategies, and their implementation.
  • Create innovative ways to deliver social value and positively impact communities.
  • Facilitate, attend, and organise presentations and events in local community settings such as schools, hospitals, and community centres.
  • Collate data to measure social outcomes.
  • Source information for construction project tenders, including 3rd party/client employment strategies.
  • Arrange local work experience and academic opportunities in the communities where projects are built.

Desirable Experience:

  • Confident communication with previous experience in Social Value.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages and social media platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Experience in the Construction industry is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A*-C (4-9) or equivalent.
