A successful and award-winning Main Contractor with an established name in the market and project portfolio across the Mixed-Use, Residential, Healthcare and Commercial sectors are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their long-standing commercial team, working on a flagship project which starts on site in June 2025. The company has a strong pipeline of work across London and a track record delivering projects c£100m in value. They have a clear structure and programme in place for their employees' personal development, where they invest in career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing all daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.

Previous experience:

  • Managing projects and/or packages £10m+ as No1 QS is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
  • Assisting with CVRs and monthly reporting.

Desirable Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years+ experience as a QS on Construction projects and/or packages in excess of £10m.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent procurement experience.
  • Experience working on New Build construction projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MSc or Degree in Quantity Surveying or comparable qualification including HNC, ONC, BTEC.
