Company & Project: A regional medium sized Main Contractor with a busy pipeline of work across Norfolk is looking to grow their Commercial team due to new projects secured. The business works across the Mixed-Use, Education, Commercial and Healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will be joining the business to work on a project valued at c£9m initially. With a clear structure and programme in place for their employees' personal development, this role is a very good opportunity for a surveyor to lead their own projects in a collaborative team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.
Desirable Experience: Minimum 10 years+ experience as a QS working for a Main Contractor. Good communication skills. Use of JCT D&B Contracts is essential.
Qualifications & Skills: BSc in Quantity Surveying or comparable qualification. Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or comparable qualification.
