Company & Project: An award-winning Main Contractor with a busy project pipeline, seeking an operational lead for their Construction Delivery team. The company has a healthy order book for 2025/26, including projects valued at circa 50m+. The successful candidate will lead a team of 20+ across various new build projects at different stages.

Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate will manage teams through all project management functions, from planning and design to financial management and construction delivery. Experience managing projects over 50m+ as No.1 PM is essential, along with knowledge of pre-construction, contract management, H&S, and client-facing skills. A stable career history working for Top 100 Main Contractors on projects from concept to completion, with team management experience, is required.
Desirable Experience
- Held a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or Contracts Manager role with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
- Experience delivering construction projects over 50m+ in sectors like Commercial, MOD/Defence, Education, Science, or Mixed-Use.
- Background in Site Management or Engineering, with a valid CSCS Card and ideally NVQ Level 6, BSc, or MCIOB.
- Strong client-facing and people management skills, leading teams of around 20 staff, with solid technical knowledge of planning, design, commercial, and delivery.
- Previous roles: Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Director, or Contracts Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Construction Management or a comparable qualification (NVQ/HNC). MCIOB status is advantageous.
