The business is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridgeshire region. \n With a robust pipeline of work across Cambridge, specifically within the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors. \n The successful candidate will initially take the commercial lead on a Higher Education project in Cambridge and a mixed-use project in the local area, both valued between c£2m-£10m. \n The business is known for its supportive culture and their successful track record in the local area. \n Duties & Responsibilities \n As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for daily commercial management functions, including: \n \n Sub-contract enquiries, procurement, and order placement. \n Timely applications for payment and reconciling accounts. \n Managing variations and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. \n Settling final accounts and ensuring practical completion is met commercially. \n \n Experience: Minimum 7+ years as a QS within a Main Contractor. \n Education: BSc in Quantity Surveying or a comparable qualification. \n Background: Previous experience as an Quantity Surveyor, Project QS, or Senior Quantity Surveyor. \n \n Application Process \n If you are interested in this exclusive opportunity or would like to discuss other vacancies within the East Anglia construction market, please email your current CV to Jess Quinn. \n Services advertised by Apple Technical Recruitment are that of an Employment Agency/Business. \
