Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment are working with a successful privately owned construction business to recruit an Assistant Estimator to join their Groundworks division. The business delivers projects across East Anglia with groundworks packages valued between c£100k-£500k. They are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Estimator to join their Groundworks division. Our client has a busy order book secured for 2026 and they are continuing to be strategic in targeting new business.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of groundworks packages between the value of c£100k-£500k on a variety of projects. You will produce take offs, cost plans/pricing in addition to placing orders and some quantity surveying duties including measurement & valuations.

Desirable Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience working for a Groundworks Sub-Contractor.
  • Experience as both an Estimator and Surveyor would be advantageous.
  • Previous Roles: Trainee Estimator OR Estimator OR Trainee Quantity Surveyor OR Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Assistant Estimator OR Graduate Estimator OR Graduate Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills: HNC or Degree in Construction related subject or comparable.
