Salary: c£100k-£120k basic plus competitive package including car or allowance, mileage to site, pension, health, bonus etc.
Company offers guidance to external consultants, Project Managers, and Project Engineers. Act as the lead technical authority for allocated projects, with specific oversight of electrical engineering elements and technical authorisation of major packages, plant, and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage external consultant appointments, monitor design progress, and lead granular design reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, technical consultants, and digital engineering partners on assigned projects.
- Maintain technical ownership of all project risks and opportunities, driving value engineering and value management processes.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure strict compliance with CDM regulations.
- Validate on-site installations and system operations against approved designs, providing technical troubleshooting and resolution support as required.
Desirable Experience:
- 10 years+ experience within a UK main contractor or major MEP subcontractor environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical building services and the integration of multidisciplinary MEP packages.
- Proven ability to manage the front-end lifecycle, including tendering, design coordination, and BIM workflows.
Previous Roles: Building Services Manager OR Electrical Manager.
