A successful privately owned quantity surveying consultancy, operating predominantly across the East of England and London from their Cambridgeshire office, are looking to recruit a new discipline lead for Quantity Surveying due to growth of the business and internal promotion.
The business is looking for a confident and client focused senior professional who has a previous background working for Chartered surveyors, Consultancy or End-Client with a proven track record of working across the Residential, Healthcare or Commercial sectors. Previous experience working as an Employer's Agent would be advantageous.
Our client has a busy project pipeline for 2026 onwards with numerous secured schemes across multiple disciplines in the local area and surrounding counties.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing an existing quantity surveying team of 5-10, regional business development (both new and existing networks) and some hands on project surveying duties where the project/client requirement is necessary.
The opportunity is a senior level strategic position within a successful consultancy.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 10 years+ experience as a QS post degree qualification.
- MRICS Chartered Surveyor.
- Excellent client facing skills and previous experience with business development/maintaining networks and relationships.
- Looking to develop/take on or continue in a senior level management position.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or comparable/relevant qualification. MRICS Essential.
