Company & Project: A privately owned main contractor operating in the Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use and Regeneration sectors. We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship Residential and Mixed-Use, Design & Build, New Build project in excess of c£40m+.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will work within a team to manage daily commercial management functions across the project, including but not limited to measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub‑contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.
Previous experience on projects £10m+ is essential.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5 years+ experience as a QS on Construction projects in excess of £10m
- Good knowledge of JCT Design & Build Contracts
- Experience working for a Main Contractor would be advantageous
- Strong track record of interpersonal and communication skills
Previous Roles: Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Quantity Surveyor
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable.
