A talented and experienced Senior Project Manager is required to lead a c£50m Design and Build Education project in Essex. The successful candidate will manage all project management functions, from planning, design and financial management, through to practical construction delivery.
Previous experience in managing projects over £30m as Number 1 Project Manager for a Top 100 Main Contractor is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of pre-construction project management, contract management, health and safety, and exceptional client-facing skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A stable career history working for Top 100 Main Contractors on projects from concept to completion.
- Experience managing teams on site of 20+.
- Previously held Number 1 Project Manager roles with recognised Top 100 Main Contractors.
- Experience in delivering construction projects over £30m within sectors such as Commercial, MOD/Defence, Education, Science or Mixed-Use.
- A background in Site Management or Engineering, including a valid CSCS Card and ideally NVQ Level 6 or BSc qualification in a construction-related field.
- Exceptional client-facing and people management skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of planning, design, commercial and construction delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- MCIOB status would be advantageous.
