A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor operating in the Commercial, Education, Life Sciences and Major Mixed-Use sectors across Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties is looking to recruit a new Planner to join their established Planning team, working across complex site programming and major bid tender planning.

The successful individual will be working closely with the pre-construction team and senior project leads on high-value schemes. The executive leadership team is well respected, long-standing, and noted for driving industry innovation while prioritising collaborative culture and work-life balance for all employees.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will take responsibility for tender and pre-construction planning.
  • Liaising closely with operational teams managing progress control, strategic scheduling, and 4D programming, while engaging directly with high-profile clients, trade contractors, and stakeholders.

This candidate should have good knowledge and experience in using ASTA Powerproject.

Desirable Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience with a Tier 1 or major Tier 2 Main Contractor in Planning.
  • Good working knowledge of ASTA Powerproject.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale New Build commercial, education or science schemes (£20m+) would be highly advantageous for this position.
