Company & Project: A successful Tier 1 Main Contractor with a busy order book and pipeline of work are currently looking to grow their team with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a c£50m in Central London. The business undertakes a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors. The role offers an opportunity for an Assistant level surveyor who is looking to take additional responsibility and expand their knowledge working on a flagship project alongside an experienced Senior QS. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility assisting with all daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts. Previous experience working for a Main Contractor is essential. Desirable Experience: Minimum 2 years+ experience as a QS with a Main Contractor. Degree qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team. Previous Roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Intermediate QS OR Trainee Quantity Surveyor. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
