We are seeking individuals for warehousing roles in Mallusk to start over the next few weeks with the first intake starting next week. This is a temporary to permanent job opportunity with a top 10 Ulster Business, recognised externally for delivering excellence in employment.
These roles are Sunday to Thursday with a 6pm start and finish around 2am but could be later if there is more work (paid). You will be joining an employer that firmly believes in rewarding, incentivising and supporting all staff members. You can expect in-depth training and mentoring in your first 12 weeks, and the company offers ongoing training and development opportunities for staff, for example, fork lift or HGV training, supervisor opportunities, etc.
Once you hit 85% of your KPI, you will start earning a bonus on top of your hourly rate, which has seen many employees earning around £3500 every four weeks, but you can earn more depending on how fast you are. The role involves manual handling equipment, and the successful candidate will undertake duties which involve pulling, pushing, lifting, and manoeuvring heavy cages, boxes, packs, and equipment. This could be in the ambient, chilled, or frozen warehouse but can be discussed.
You will need to be:
- Reliable and on time.
- A good team player, able to get on with your teammates.
- A good level of written and spoken English.
- Positive and motivated.
- Able to work to targets.
What you can expect:
- Initially this is a temporary contract but will become permanent after training and probation.
- Hourly rate will be between £12.20 and £13, which will rise once permanent.
- Paid weekly.
