The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Warehouse & Inventory Technician will support day-to-day stores operations across two sites (Mallusk & Belfast). You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, smooth logistics, and excellent service delivery. This position requires a strong administrative background within a warehouse environment, including hands-on experience using warehouse systems to manage stock, process goods, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing goods inwards using warehouse systems
- Maintaining accurate stock records through WMS / ERP systems
- Stock control, reconciliation and cycle counting
- Data entry and administrative processing of inventory transactions
- Supporting day-to-day stores operations across two sites
- Delivering agreed performance metrics
- Managing site- and customer-specific requests in line with contracts
- Ordering consumables and materials through internal systems
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria:
- Proven administrative experience within a warehouse or stores environment
- Hands-on experience using a Warehouse Operating / Warehouse Management System (e.g. SAP, Ariba or similar)
- Access to own transport (required due to travel between Mallusk & Belfast sites)
- Strong IT skills, including MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Fluent English (essential)
- A flexible, adaptable, and proactive "can-do" attitude
- Confidence dealing with clients and vendors
- Candidates must already hold a permanent right to work in the UK as no sponsorship can be offered
Desirable:
- Knowledge of engineering parts
