Role: Clerical Officer Location: Strabane Office Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm Contract: Temporary Salary: £13.05 per hour Role Overview The Clerical Officer will provide essential administrative and customer‑service support. Working closely with the Patch Manager and wider staff, you will ensure accurate record‑keeping, efficient communication handling, and smooth day‑to‑day operations across the Strabane office. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, good IT proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service to tenants, clients, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming communications, queries, and correspondence from tenants, clients, and external partners. Input data accurately and maintain both physical and digital records. Update internal database systems and prepare routine reports. Collate statistical housing information as required. Provide daily administrative support to the Patch Manager and wider team. Work independently and collaboratively to meet organisational objectives. Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and customer‑service standards. Essential Criteria IT Proficiency: Intermediate level. Experience: 1–5 years in an administrative or customer‑service environment. Qualifications: Minimum 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths). Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs. Good attendance and timekeeping record. Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to equality, diversity, and excellent customer service. Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
