Clerical Officer
Location: Omagh
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Rotational Rota Monday β Friday
Duration: Ongoing Temporary Contract

About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a B2 Clerical Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual to provide administrative and clerical support within a busy healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administrative functions of the department, providing a high standard of customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Maintain general filing systems
β’ Operate computerised information systems
β’ Record and distribute incoming mail/post and deal with routine correspondence and outgoing mail
β’ Prioritise and organise workload effectively
β’ Answer telephone calls and respond appropriately
β’ Complete faxing and photocopying duties
β’ Type minutes of meetings and other documentation as required
β’ Liaise with colleagues, other departments and external agencies
β’ Maintain compliance with data protection, confidentiality and Trust policies
β’ Order stationery and ensure adequate supplies are maintained
β’ Carry out general administrative tasks as required
β’ Assist with the production, presentation and distribution of written documentation using Microsoft Word, including letters, memos, funding submissions and reports
Essential Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
β’ 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent/higher educational standard
OR
β’ 2 years administrative / clerical experience
In addition, candidates must have:
β’ Knowledge of computer packages including Microsoft Office and email
β’ Knowledge of office procedures
β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality
β’ Good organisational and time management skills
β’ Ability to work well within a team
β’ Reliability and flexibility
β’ Good interpersonal skills
β’ Ability to use initiative
