An opportunity has arisen for a Design Project Manager (APD) to support the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes within a regional project delivery team. This temporary role will involve assisting in the coordination and execution of maintenance projects to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Manager in managing regional planned maintenance programmes
- Assist in coordinating cyclical and planned works across a portfolio of properties
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and performance against targets
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Contribute to reporting, documentation, and programme tracking
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Essential Criteria
- 1–5 years' relevant experience in construction, maintenance, or project delivery
- Good working knowledge of project coordination or construction processes
- Intermediate IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office and project tracking systems)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional Requirements
- Basic Access NI check required
- Willingness to work within a structured public-sector environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality services and continuous improvement
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Full-time role (37 hours per week)
- Minimum 20-minute flexible break between 12:00pm – 2:00pm
- Holiday entitlement: 23 days annual leave + 12 public holidays (pro rata)
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided where required
