Apple Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an Organisation Development Officer to join their Organisation Development team based at Antrim Civic Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of organisation development interventions and improvement initiatives.
- Review organisational structures, processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to review competency frameworks and support workforce planning initiatives.
- Assist in developing recruitment branding, employee value propositions and promotional materials.
- Support the delivery of change management, organisational development and performance improvement projects.
- Develop and implement Elected Member development strategies, training programmes and learning resources.
- Coordinate learning and development programmes, leadership development initiatives and employee training.
- Identify training needs and assist in sourcing, delivering and evaluating learning interventions.
- Maintain accurate employee training records and produce management reports as required.
- Support talent management, succession planning and workforce development initiatives.
- Assist in delivering employee engagement and wellbeing programmes, staff surveys and engagement events.
- Coordinate internal communications, employee recognition initiatives and corporate events.
- Prepare reports, committee papers and other documentation as required.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, organisational policies and relevant governance requirements.
Essential Criteria
- A relevant Level 4 qualification (or above) in a business-related subject.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) at Associate, Chartered or Fellow level.
- OR Applicants without the above qualifications may be considered if they can demonstrate a minimum of 4 years' relevant Organisation Development experience and are willing to work towards achieving the CIPD qualification as part of their continuing professional development.
- At least 2 years' experience in an Organisation Development role, including:
- Designing and delivering employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Using learning and development methodologies, including eLearning and innovative learning practices.
- Improving internal communications across an organisation.
- Researching information and producing reports with recommendations.
- Strong IT and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Human Resources and Organisation Development.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A full current driving licence or access to suitable transport to fulfil the duties of the role.
