Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Full-Time hours, 37 1/2 hours each week
Duration: Ongoing temporary contract until 30th September 2026, then reviewed to extend as required.

We are delighted to be recruiting Support Workers (Band 3) on behalf of our public sector client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support tenants in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, household tasks, and social activities.
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in accordance with each tenant’s individual care plan.
- Assist tenants in maintaining their tenancies, managing finances, and attending health or community appointments.
- Administer and document medication in line with policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Support Workers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care plus 6 months’ paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment; OR
- Hold 4 GCSEs (Grade C or above including English Language) or equivalent/higher qualification plus 6 months’ paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment OR
- Have 2 years’ paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment.
- Be registered (or willing to register) with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).
- Be willing to complete QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care within one year of appointment.
- Hold a current full UK driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments will be made where applicable).
