About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer (Band 3) to join a busy housing team based in Carrickfergus.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the main point of contact between the Housing Executive and local communities
- Supporting the management of tenancies and providing assistance to residents
- Conducting estate inspections and identifying issues requiring follow-up action
- Supporting vulnerable residents and signposting to appropriate services
- Working with local agencies and partners to address community concerns
- Assisting with resolving anti-social behaviour and community safety issues
- Building positive relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant administrative tasks
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, community, housing, or administrative environment (less than 1 year experience required)
- Intermediate IT skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people
- Full driving licence and access to a car
